Notes: 2 ADAs approached us as soon as we entered the court room to ask who we were there for and if anyone had spoken to us yet. They informed us that ADA David Graham is the ADA handling the case and they both let him know that we were present. At 10:38, we had not yet been approached by ADA Graham. We gave the Community Impact Letter to the bailiff to give to the ADA. The bailiff took the letter over to ADA Bunting, spoke to him briefly and then took the letter and stood in the back of the courtroom. One of our volunteers went to the bailiff to see what the deal was. The bailiff told him that the ADA handling the case would need to take the CIL personally and it could not be delivered by the bailiff. He gave the CIL back to us.
At 10:50 CMCW volunteer got the attention of ADA Graham. He said he was waiting for Mr. Moore’s defense attorney. ADA Graham informed us that Mr. Moore will be pleading not guilty today and his case will go to trial. ADA Graham said he would accept the letter, but nothing would be happening today. We did not submit the letter.
