Notes: Problem with this case seems to be that the witness from Harris Teeter for the defendant’s charge of Misdemeanor Larceny (Probable shoplifting) is not being present at the hearing. According to an ex-ADA friend, taxpayers are picking up the tab for the hearing and the court-appointed attorney every time this witness fails to appear.
